CHSTF Releases Final Report
On April 6, 2006 the District's Comprehensive Housing Strategy Task Force released its final report entitled, Homes for an Inclusive City: A Comprehensive Housing Strategy for Washington, DC. Major recommendations include increasing affordable housing production, preserving existing affordable housing, increasing the District's homeownership rate, supporting extremely low income renters, and better integrating special needs housing throughout the city, among others.
